Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect the following information:
- Name and display name — used to identify you within the community
- Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
- Username — your unique public identifier on the platform
If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or an Apple relay email) as provided by Apple. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password.
Content You Submit
When you submit a shortcut, we collect the shortcut name, description, iCloud link, icon, and category selection. This content is associated with your account and displayed publicly once approved.
Automatically Collected Information
We may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data helps us maintain and improve the Service. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Display your submitted shortcuts to the community
- Communicate with you about your account or submissions
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the platform
- Comply with legal obligations
Authentication and Firebase
We use Google Firebase for authentication. Your password is handled entirely by Firebase and is never stored in our database. Firebase's handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (opens in new tab).
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Public content — Your username and submitted shortcuts are visible to all visitors
- Service providers — We use third-party services (such as Firebase and our hosting provider) that process data on our behalf to operate the Service
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable timeframe. Submitted shortcuts that have been approved and published may remain on the platform in anonymized form.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication through Firebase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
